Fidelity National Title

Fidelity National Title Insurance Company, an arm of Fidelity National Financial, the largest title insurance company in the world, needed a Web-based solution to replace a legacy system used by thousands of internal users and independent agents to produce closing protection letters for lenders. The requirements were simple. The solution had to be able to handle a volume of more than 1,000 letters per day, be easily modified by Fidelity National IT staff and be fast and easy to use.

Cognotix designed and deployed an ASP-based Web application with a Microsoft SQL Server database backend. Using off-the-shelf components and rapid-application development practices, Cognotix was able to deliver a solution that met Fidelity National's requirements and stay within budget. In the first month of production operation, the system generated more than 22,000 closing protection letters and has allowed Fidelity National data-entry personnel to achieve greater efficiency.
